Pocahontas County farmers and gardners will have some help getting their produce to market this growing season. Beginning in May,  a weekly truck route will deliver fresh locally grown produce to county restaurants and consumers. Customers will be able to view avaialbale inventory online and reserve items from multiple farms for a sinlge delivery. The Pocahontas County Farmers Market has been bubbling along since May. Now we are bringing in plenty of produce to enjoy all week and maybe to can or freeze. The WVU Extension Service and the directors of the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Museum will be working together to offer an evening workshop on pruning apple trees and grapevines at the Pearl S.
